Wednesday Evening Recreational Paddle
For beginner/ intermediate recreational paddlers.
Most Wednesday evenings spring to fall.
5:30 PM (on water at 6:00)
Pioneer Park
Join us for our regular Pioneer Paddling Session. We go up or downstream on the Thompson River and enjoy the evening light while getting a little exercise. We may work on a few skills but it is meant to be a leisurely paddle.
Depending on who shows up we may split into two groups. Paddlers should have taken out Learn to Paddle Course at a minimum and be able to steer their canoe reasonably well. We will do our best to accommodate beginners and guests though.
Please arrive a few minutes early to help set up you canoe and find a paddling partner.
Keiran Rankin is the most common leader, but other club trip leaders may assist or run the evening.
